Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This policy explains how SearchAudit.io uses cookies and similar technologies. We use as few as we reasonably can — enough to keep you signed in and to understand what’s working.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They let us remember your session, preferences, and a little about how the site is used. Some are essential; others are optional.

How we use cookies

To keep you securely signed in to your dashboard, remember preferences such as monthly/annual pricing, and measure aggregate usage so we can improve the product.

Types we use

Essential — required for authentication and core functionality. These can’t be switched off without breaking the app.

Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregate measurement via Plausible and PostHog. These help us see which features matter; they don’t track you across other sites.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the app. Analytics cookies are optional and can be declined.

Third-party cookies

Our payment provider (Stripe) may set cookies during checkout to prevent fraud. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
